A key Friends for Leisure objective is to raise awareness of disability issues.

• We educate children and adults in the everyday difficulties faced by people with disabilities; dispel some of the myths and, encourage tolerance and acceptance.

• Over the years, FFL staff has give disability awareness presentations to tens of thousands of children of all ages throughout Cheshire East.

• Our staff are available to provide sessions at appropriate levels to schools, colleges and community groups.

• We can also brief and advise the management and staff of clubs, leisure and service providers in disability awareness.
