Fundraising

Friends for Leisure is a registered charity and relies on fundraising and donations to keep its activities running.

We need £75,000 per year to keep our core services running and that's a lot of fundraising and hard work. Although we have some larger donors and sponsors, like support from Business and Cheshire County Council Social Services, we have a long way to go to get the funding necessary to secure the work we do with young people.

Possible fundraising events and ideas

Almost any event can be turned into a fundraising event. Why not draw on your own skills, experiences and interests. For example, if you are good at cooking and enjoy having friends around, why not organise a charity dinner party, and ask your friends to donate. 

So if you are interested in getting involved with the fundraising at Friends For Leisure here are some possible fundraising events and ideas....
