Children and Young People with physical, sensory and learning disabilities aged between five and twenty-one years living within Cheshire East can be registered.

You can either contact the FFL office or download the registration form from our download page and send the completed form to the FFL office (see contact page).

Our staff will visit you to explain the scheme, establish your needs, discuss safety and welfare issues and decide how FFL can help.

• FFL does not expect its volunteers to perform personal care for their friends.

• Where care or support is needed, we are happy to provide a volunteer friend, but cannot provide a carer.

• We may be able to signpost you to local organisations who offer a carer service.

• All FFL staff and volunteers are CRB checked and have appropriate training before taking up their roles. All children and activities are risk assessed prior to commencement.

Following registration we will endeavour to arrange the Friends for Leisure activity or friendship that you have requested as soon as possible.
