Volunteers are Friends for Leisure’s most valuable asset. We could not provide this much-needed service without your help.

• Whether you are providing a friendship, helping in the office, shaking a collection tin or performing some stupendous feat to fundraise for us; you are the very essence of what Friends for Leisure is all about.

• We train our volunteers to enable them to perform their chosen task safely, comfortably and to be confident in the knowledge that they have backup from our staff.

• Friends for Leisure is recognised as a ‘centre of excellence’ in the field.

• Your experience with us may well be helpful for your future career, particularly in the caring and social services fields.

• We can also help with the Duke of Edinburgh and other award schemes.
