Changes to the FFL team

A message from Jade: 

‘As most of you know, I am leaving FFL as I have a new job. I just wanted to say it has been a pleasure to work for such an amazing charity that will always have a special place in my heart. I have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know every young person, volunteer and all of the families and will miss my group activities. I hope all of the young people continue to enjoy FFL activities and develop lots of new friends. It has been a privilege to work within such a fantastic team who are so supportive and caring. I am keen to keep in touch and support the charity where possible to continue. My first event will be a fundraising run for the Boalloy relay marathon. FFL are still looking for runners (or walkers) so if you would be willing to take part please email Claire for more details claire@friendsforleisure.org.uk.’

She will be greatly missed by all of us and we wish her the best of luck in her new job! 

Taking on her role from 4th March will be Hannah Guthrie. Hannah has been part of the FFL team since June 2014, working as a Project Worker for young people and their families in Crewe and the surrounding areas. 

Hannah says ‘I am really excited for this new challenge and getting to know my new groups in Congleton and Macclesfield. This is going to be a big change for me and the rest of the team and although I will be sad to leave my groups in Crewe, I am glad to be able to plan future activities and still see you all in the holidays!’ 

Friends for Leisure are excited to welcome Frankie to the team as the new Crewe Project Worker. Frankie has started joining Hannah at activities in Crewe and will start her role on 18th March.

We shall be sharing more about Frankie soon!
