Volunteering

Volunteer Applications Open Now!

Friends For Leisure volunteers are at the heart of our organisation and vital for us to be able to continue providing friendship and leisure opportunities for our young people. Our volunteers help at our youth groups and holiday activities, and provide 1:1 friendships to young people who need a friend. Volunteers also can help out with fundraising, office work, or by offering their time and skills in whatever it is they’re good at!

Our aim is for our volunteers to gain skills, confidence, and experience through our programme as well as making a difference to the lives of young people. They can gain volunteering hours for a DofE award, school enrichment/PPD program, or for their own career goals.

Volunteers are also given the opportunity to complete free training courses to help them to make the most of their time with us, and also to equip them for the future.

We’re looking for enthusiastic, friendly, motivated volunteers aged 15 and up to join our team. If you’re interested in becoming a volunteer, please see below for how to sign up!
